Merry Christmas a few days late for all of you I haven't already wished a Merry Christmas to! New Year's is almost upon us, and with it, the commencement (on my part) of much packing. I think my new year won't really start till the 9th, to tell the truth, and I know many of you are thinking the same as I am.

I must be dreaming....

.... because it IS a white Christmas!!! Of all things. Snow. In Houston. On Christmas Eve night..... Someone must have wished it this year, for this is far too perfect. This is the first time I can remember when there is actually enough snow for it to collect on rooftops and cars. And it is so beautiful! Thank you, oh Lord who created snow!

Today was my Christmas day, and it was a lovely one. I received a cd, a cd player, an expansion set to my LOTR game, and a wireless keyboard and mouse! I didn't expect so much, since I'm still getting my PS2 from the parents as soon as someone has it in stock. Tomorrow, bright and early at 5 AM, we set out for Kansas! We will be making the trip in one day's drive, so wish me luck for 15 hours in the car with my four siblings....

It's beginning to feel a lot like.... boredom?

So. This is what having nothing to do feels like. I'd forgotten.

Don't get me wrong, I kind of like waking up not knowing what day of the week it is because it doesn't matter anyway and I don't have to do anything. I enjoy sitting on my bed playing FFX2 for hours on end and getting to watch ROTK:EE all the way through (semi-)uninterrupted. Oh, and I like the candy. Can't forget that.

My Christmas is going to actually fall on Christmas Eve, because the day of Christmas Day my family is going to pack up and head to Kansas to see my sister. We're staying there till Tuesday. Not much to do in Kansas... well, except beat up all the wannabe DDR players. Yeah, you heard me, I pwnXorZ j00! ^_^

And now, for the ultimate conondrum....

My head hurts.....

I'm so glad school is over and work is finished, but I'm quite finished with Christmas break, can we please go back now? I finally got my placement at letu (yay for us, Paige!) and I think I know what I want to take, but I can't register till I get there. In 21 days. Grar, it seems like a very, very long time till then.

It feels odd to have nothing to do. Not that I mind it, mind you, but still, it does feel odd. It's like the intermission during a play; just waiting for an endless space of time between something ending and something else beginning. I wish it would hurry up and end. Or begin. Whichever it is.

It's high time I actually said something here. After all, it is my blog, so I suppose I should put something original here.....

Um. School is over now. Work will be over in about five days. We have our tree up.... Oh, and I've actually gotten some shopping done! Yay! We shan't be doing anything for Christmas, except going to see my sister after Christmas morning. And now to decide whether or not to go to a new year's party.... If I did, I would probably end up being gotten drunk for the first time in my life. I'm not sure about it....

Early in the morning toward the last day of the semester,

I'm back!

Haven't posted in a long time. Mostly this is due to a conglomeration of work, the holidays, a week-long camping trip, and of course finals! So, a recap of what you all missed:

My camping trip over Thanksgiving was.... well, interesting. Instead of trying to describe it to you, I have decided to give you a selection of phrases heard during the trip. Without further ado, "My Trip: In Quotes":
